I’m currently wrapping up my apprenticeship at Texas Roadhouse Support Center, where I’ve spent the past year as the sole UX designer on the team. I independently designed and implemented a scalable Angular Material design system and redesigned mobile point-of-sale system, improving usability and accesibility across 700+ restaurants nationwide.
Before that, I spent the summer of 2024 in the Bay Area, selected from over 400 applicants for BRIDGEGOOD’s UX Design Apprenticeship. I spent the first two months in a cohort of 20 designers reinforcing the foundations of design, and the last month leading a team of four to co-design Apprendo, a video-first learning platform for creatives of color, in partnership with Google’s Tech Equity Collective.
I’m passionate about crafting accessible, user-friendly products that empower users to achieve their digital objectives while promoting equity, opportunity, and social good. With expertise in Design Systems, Design Thinking, and Web Accessibility, I create scalable solutions that balance user advocacy with stakeholder and business goals, delivering experiences that are inclusive, thoughtful, and impactful for everyone involved.
When I’m not designing, I lead a very active lifestyle so yes, I might ask if you want to join me for a yoga class, try bouldering, or go on a run when we work together. I also love spending time with my adorable dog, traveling (yes, I used to work on cruise ships a story for another day), cooking and eating good food, and drinking iced lattes.
